Woo hoo!

Went shooting with a buddy who's leaving the Army in a week. Spent the entire day shooting my Garand and LR-308, and my buddy's '43 build Nazi K98 and Spanish Mauser. The ammo was plentiful, weather was good, met some good folks, and was hitting the ten ring all day long. Total round count for the day was 550 .30 cal and 8mm.

My right shoulder feels like it was kicked by a mule. For real.

Decided to plant a couple more cucumbers and jalape�os. I believe in a month or two we'll be swimming in vegetables. Of course, our little garden will yield nowhere the amount Andy's will... Sir, I am jealous!


Anyway, what's going on with y'all?

ooh, let's see.... I finally threw down for a case of the Kraft canned cheese from internet-grocer.com (that stuff is SO good!), a case of TP from Wally-World, more canning supplies (jars, lids, etc), 65lbs of honey from millershoney.com, another 5000 rounds of .22 ammo (the wal-mart sporting goods manager was willing to hook me up with a discount), and yet another Ruger 10/22 rifle. I'm getting just a little bit closer! :applause_

Filled upped/exchanged some extra 20# propane tanks before the price goes up again.
Garden stuff this week with more plants started inside. Then we wait and wait and wait...ahahahhhh!!, but did manage to prep a small area for another 4x8 raised bed
Too wet to dig the footers for the greenhouse...so then we wait and wait....
Oh yeah, I made a 1 Gal. batch of Ed's Red gun cleaner for future reference.

Today I got:

- Glock 26
- 2 extra magazines (for a total of 4)
- speedloader
- IWB holster
- Hard case w/ lock
- 150 rounds of 9mm target ammo
- 20 rounds of 9mm personal protection ammo

FTF, $440 :D

I almost forget...I also bought a new safe and got that bolted in today!
